We are excited to let you know about a new development from Invisalign!
There is a new system especially engineered for teens. In the past we have been a little reluctant to offer teens Invisalign due to compliance, although there are many teens that want clear aligner therapy. Some of the teens actually declined treatment, because they did not want traditional braces.
Now we have an alternative for clear aligner therapy to offer teens. Let us tell you about the difference:
- There is an indicator in each aligner to show whether the patient is being compliant in wearing the aligner
- Each teen is given 6 replacement aligners, in case they lose or misplace their aligners
- Aligners are especially designed with improved technology to adapt to teens
We are one of the 900 certified Invisalign orthodontists chosen in the United States for this new pilot program. Dr. Wadler has been designated as an Ortho Peer Leader to help other dentists with complicated cases.
