Shelly Walker has been on the Bellaire Family Orthodontics Team since 1995 and in the field of orthodontics since 1979. She was hand picked by Dr. Wadler, and there is not much Shelly cannot do in the office. She is the practice's ambassador of good will and you can feel her smile before you can see her. She is one of the most compassionate and passionate people you will ever meet. She and her husband, David, have a son, Tyler, who will be off to college soon. Shelly is truly a patient advocate, Clinical Assistant and "Jack of All Trades." Just ask her a question; she has the answer or she will find out for you!

Lora Alvarado has been in dentistry since 1995. She started working with Dr. Wadler in 2001, as an Orthodontic Assistant, and she will tell you working with Bellaire Family Orthodontics has been a great opportunity for her. She enjoys meeting new people and it really shows in her work. Lora has become one of Dr. Wadler's and Dr. Bloome's premiere assistants. There is not much Lora does not know about every appliance, wire, bracket and every nook and cranny in the office. She keeps all the patients' charts organized and prioritized for Dr. Wadler and Dr. Bloome to work up their cases. Lora is originally from Corpus Christi. She is married and has two children: a beautiful daughter, Kayla, and her son known as "Little Man" Oscar. In Lora's time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her loved ones; family is very important to her.

Toshia Hurd attended NIT and graduated as the school's youngest Valedictorian. She calls Bellaire Family Orthodontics her second family, and she feels very fortunate to be working with Dr. Wadler, Dr. Bloome and the BFO Team, since 2002. Her teammates call her a "mother hen," because she is the planner and organizer in the clinical area. Toshia always has a list of goals to accomplish, and she encourages others to accomplish their dreams. So, if you ever need encouragement or just want somebody to listen to you, Toshia's your guardian angel. Toshia's favorite line is, "To the world you might be just a person, but to one person you can be their world."

Lesa Doyle has worked for Dr. Wadler for over 25 years. She started as Dr. Wadler's receptionist and she is now Bellaire Family Orthodontics' Insurance Coordinator. Lesa can answer almost any question you may have regarding your orthodontic insurance. She is our "go to girl" when it comes to those mind-boggling questions regarding insurance benefits. Lesa and her husband, David, have two sons, Marc & Eliot. Lesa is also a grandmother, but you would never know it, and she has three adorable grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter. Among her many other talents, Lesa is a professional soloist and she sings regularly for her church and at many other occasions. Lesa will tell you she has truly been blessed to work for such a generous and kind boss and she appreciates the opportunity to be a part of such an exciting orthodontic practice.

Aleeta Coleman is Bellaire Family Orthodontics' Appointment Coordinator Extraordinaire. Aleeta is the friendly voice that is always willing to help above and beyond the call of duty. She is a native New Orleanian and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. She has been an expanded duty Certified Dental Assistant in the State of Louisiana since 1997, and she is also certified in radiology and CPR. Aleeta's hobbies include learning, singing, dancing, painting, and baking. Aleeta will tell you her motto is, "Adversity causes some men to break ... others to break records." She encourages everyone to break records, and she looks forward to being the friendly voice on the other end of your telephone call and scheduling your appointments, because she will go "the extra mile for your smile."

Barbara Lavoot is Bellaire Family Orthodontics' Treatment Coordinator. She is the girl who makes it happen around Bellaire Family Orthodontics. Barbara is our "Smile Advocate," and she always says, "if there is a will there is a way." She has worked in orthodontics for over 15 years, and we at Bellaire Family Orthodontics are fortunate that she joined the team in 2004. Barbara thoroughly enjoys taking great care of each patient she meets, and she makes it a priority to make sure new patients feel welcomed in the practice. Barbara assists patients in starting their treatment, handles financial arrangements and answers any questions patients have regarding their first appointments. Barbara relates very well to patients having braces, because she has been a patient at Bellaire Family Orthodontics herself. Barbara and her husband, Steve, enjoy traveling and playing duplicate bridge. She looks forward to meeting you and showing you what Bellaire Family Orthodontics is all about.

Francine Campa is Bellaire Family Orthodontics' head Assistant and Treatment Coordinator. She has been on Dr. Wadler's team since 2003, and she is also the SureSmile Treatment Coordinator, In fact, there are not many hats Francine does not wear. Francine has been in orthodontics since 1990, and she has a vast knowledge of orthodontics. She is always happy to answer questions, and she always puts our patients at ease. Francine has two beautiful children, Matthew & Makena; they are the light of her life. Francine's hobbies are her children and Bellaire Family Orthodontcs. Who has time for hobbies? So, it is really great she enjoys what she does.

Nicole Heyer has been an Assistant at Bellaire Family Orthodontics since 2000. She loves helping patients with their braces and would not think of any other field of work. Patients love Nicole. She has a bubbly, friendly personality, and always keeps everyone laughing and smiling. She is originally from Southern California, but we have turned her into a Texan now. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Zac, and their three cats. Nicole enjoys meeting new people and she loves being part of the Bellaire Family Orthodontics' team. Nicole looks forward to meeting new patients and serving the existing patients of Bellaire Family Orthodontics for many years to come.

Stephanie Mike is Bellaire Family Orthodontics' Financial Coordinator. She is a "whiz" with numbers, and seems to make everything work. She might be able to work wonders with the economy given the opportunity. Stephanie moved to Houston from Atlanta where she was the Financial/Treatment Coordinator for a prominent orthodontics office. She is glad she is part of the Bellaire Family Orthodontics Team and we are happy she is here too. Stephanie has a beautiful daughter, Trinity, who attends Texas A & M Prairie View. She looks forward to helping the patients with their financial matters, and going the extra mile for their beautiful smile.

Charmaine is from Louisiana and graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Charmaine has been in dentistry since 1998 with the last several years in orthodontics. She has now become part of our team as Treatment Coordinator. You will find Charmaine to be very knowledgeable, but also a very friendly and caring person. She assists Dr. Wadler and Dr. Bloome to make things happen for our patients.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Treatment Coordinator for Charmaine is witnessing the transformation of a beautiful smile that makes a difference in the lives our patients.

In Charmaine's spare time she enjoys cycling, exercising, shopping and spending time with her family in Louisiana.

Marcel Jimenez is an Orthodontic Assistant at Bellaire Family Orthodontics. She has been in the orthodontic field of dentistry since 1998, and she will tell you she has enjoyed every moment. Marcel loves helping the patients of the Practice and works hard to strive for excellence in service and quality orthodontics. There is nothing more rewarding than the day the patient comes in to have their braces removed. There is a huge celebration, and a lot of fun. Marcel has a beautiful baby boy and a wonderful husband with who she loves spending time.

Kori Schlaich has been part of the “Rock–N-Smile” Bellaire Family Orthodontics Team since January 2008. Kori helps coordinate all the clinical areas of the office to keep everything running smoothly. She takes great pride in keeping the sterilization procedures up to OSHA standards and she also keeps the lab organized. She loves being an Orthodontic Assistant and working with a great Team. She wants all patients to experience a beautiful smile in a fun, caring office that is all about service. Kori has a son who keeps her busy when she is not in the office.

Jennifer De La Rosa is an Assistant at Bellaire Family Orthodontics. She was born and raised in the Rio Grand Valley, and went to school in Harlingen, Texas. She has been an Orthodontic Assistant since 2007, and joined the Practice in 2008. Jennifer enjoys working with Dr. Wadler, Dr. Wadler Bloome and the rest of the Team. Working to deliver excellence in service and quality orthodontics is what she strives for every day. She will tell you it is very rewarding, when patients leave the Practice with the smile they dreamed about having. Jennifer spends family time with her husband and son when she is not in the office.
