Usually, the first visit consists of an evaluation of your orthodontic needs, which includes an exam and aesthetic evaluation. We would like to get to know you and assess concerns you may have regarding your smile. The examination is complimentary, and we can answer most of your questions at this appointment.

If you would like to proceed, we can usually accommodate taking the necessary x-rays and records the same day. This will eliminate an extra appointment, and put you this much closer to starting your treatment and the smile you have dreamed about. This information is used to develop a customized treatment plan for each patient.

Consultation

Upon completion of the evaluation and record taking, we present the findings and consult with you regarding your treatment, including the cost for your case.

We are pleased to provide a state-of-the-art office, with the latest in orthodontic technology.

Appointments

Office visits are by appointment, so please schedule in advance for your appointment. This will allow us to reserve a time especially for you. We find this works to everyone's best interest, so Dr. Wadler and Dr. Bloome can spend the time that is necessary for each patient's needs. We do, however, allow for emergency times, when our patient's have special needs. Please do not hesitate to call, if the situation arises.

We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that our patients extend the same courtesy. If you cannot make an appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible. This courtesy will allow us to give the appointment to another patient who might be in need.

The appointment to have your appliances placed (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes from one to two hours. You will have subsequent office visits at regular intervals, usually every 8 to 10 weeks for adjustments, and the appointment usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
